I do plan to contact them, but I can't try that until Monday, and I have no idea if they will even help.Cummins l9 450hp. ![]() I do not see any way to get this from AutoEnginuity now. I figure, hope, someone out there still has an old version. This forum came up multiple times in searches so I thought I would try. Every reference to that file I found was dead. I think the file was always named pc_scantool_install.zip. I've searched online, looked at lots and lots of pages/links and just cannot find it. The specific version of the software doesn't matter, as long as it's before they started the activation and such, when the download was just free. I have the old USB version, with the captive USB cable built-in to the unit, not removable. I'm looking for the very old scantool software from, maybe something like 10yrs ago, before they started any of the subscriptions or registration codes or anything. Even current customers, " Response will be delayed on Mondays due to the volume of weekend requests", how mad would you be if you just spent hundreds of dollars on their products and then Friday night you need the software and you have to wait till Monday. ![]() Dropping support for old hardware is one thing, but making it difficult for those old customers to get software they need to make their products function, that's a totally different story. I'm not nearly as angry as I was before, but still not happy with the fact that it wasn't easy and instant to just get the free base software from their site. This version (and maybe the latest too I don't know) still works without a subscription or activation codes or anything like that, giving you the generic OBDII data. ![]() ***UPDATE: I found a file, it said it was version 9, and it worked. ![]()
